Night as Commons and the Dark Side of Light is a 6-week residency in Vármező / Câmpu Cetății exploring darkness, photoperiodicity, light pollution, and the political and ecological consequences of artificial illumination. The residency invites artists and researchers to develop visual, spatial, and research-based practices that approach night as a shared temporal commons, a medium of attention, and a site where more-than-human rhythms become perceptible.
