From April 24-26, we hosted the first participants of the 2024 hypha_workshop program: a group of students and their tutors from the Ornithology course, an elective course within the Biology and Ecology undergraduate program at Babeș-Bolyai University. They held their annual field ornithology workshop at hypha_etc, Câmpu Cetății.
During their field trip to the Natura 2000 site, Valea Nirajului - Dealurile Târnavelor, the students learned methodologies used in the Pan-European Common Bird Monitoring Scheme. They conducted point counts, transects, and bird banding activities in the area surrounding Câmpu Cetății.
