hypha_residency - Ari David
Ari David is our artist‑in‑residence for May 2026. During their stay, Ari will continue their research project The Weather Report, which examines the weather forecast as a cultural and performative space. The project explores both the intangible qualities of weather and the familiar visual formats we use to predict it, examining how this shape the stories we encounter daily about our relationship to nature and the desire to control or anticipate it.
Katalin Erdődi
hypha_etc welcomed Katalin Erdődi, a curator, dramaturge, and writer based in Budapest, as our resident in December 2024. During her stay, Katalin worked on her dissertation as part of the PhD-in-Practice in Curating program at ZHdK (Zurich University of Arts) and the University of Reading (UK).
Virág Lődi
Virág Lődi, an educator and cultural worker, used this residency to work on her doctoral thesis, Situations and Commitments - Specific Aspects of the Pedagogical Turn of the 1970s in Hungary / The Work of Péter Forgács, István Sinkó & István Rév, and Educational Films of the Balázs Béla Studio.
